Bacon Candy/Candied Bacon/ Pig Candy

This recipe is as easy as it gets

take 1 lb. of BACON (or as much as you WANT)

take 2/3 C Brown Sugar(or whatever CRAZY sugar you got)

take bacon lay it in strips FLAT on a foiled cookie sheet

spread SUGAR over BACON EVENLY & LIBERALLY

Throw in an OVEN @ 400' - 450' until DONE about 10-12 minutes

These come out crispy and gooey and sweet and salty TOTALLY ADDICTIVE!

There are many variations of this fabulous treat, many use varying types of sugar, syrup and other HARD candy stuff.

CAN'T wait to see this stuff @ the FAIR.

Only place I've heard about it is http://www.charliepalmer.com/cp/home.html .

When bacon first began to be sold as already pre-cooked @ room temperature I was eating boxes of it like Snickers bars. You actually could find the floor of my car littered.

MO'S BACON BAR

This looks like exotic Bacon Bark so I can give you a recipe for that.

This is another SUPER EASY recipe

Take a bag of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Take 6-7 strips of FRIED Bacon

Melt Chocolate in microwave-so it slowly 1 minute or less at a time

Chop Bacon Strips

Spread MELTED Chocolate over a GREASED cookie sheet and sprinkle with BACON
