If you are in the Midwest luck would have it these aren't that hard to come by,every other car & convenience store has them and then for the hermit there's great online resources like "Pursuing the Pork Tenderloin", "Stalking the wild breaded pork tenderloin in Iowa " even the folks over the Bacon Salt Blog have an interesting spin on them. But here in Las Vegas we only have ONE place in town that serves them that I am aware of, Hash House A Go Go at 6800 W Sahara Ave,(702) 804-4646, on the menu it's listed as "INDIANA FAVORITE, Big O'crispy hand hammered pork tenderloin sandwich w/onion, pickles & of course ketchup on a whole wheat bun served with your choice of side. You'll think you're back in Indiana! "
But they want $14 and it's really just OK. They are touted as a Gourmet Farm Fresh with a spin.
We used to have a little bar Max Bett's FunHog Ranch over at 495 E Twain Ave and they had traditional Midwestern Pork tenderloin Sandwiches and Real Hpilly CheeseSteaks but now they've closed the kitchen sold the place and it's now a gay bar.
NOW I just found out about a NEW place I called the phone and they answered "Hot Rod Grille" and I aksed do you really have a Iowa Pork Tenderloin Sandwich and with a smile she replied "We sure do". Well I'm off to pay a visit you have to wait til Sunday to hear how it went.
