THE GIFT OF LIGHTS Hours are 5-10 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and holidays, 5-9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays through Jan. 4 at Sunset Park, 2601 E. Sunset Road. Admission is $13 per vehicle, $2 off admission with a bag of gently used items to be donated to Goodwill of Southern Nevada (451-1641).
MAGICAL FOREST featuring the Forest Express train, Enchanted Carousel, the Alpine Slide, Santa's Workshop, storytime theatre, displays and more. Hours are 5:30-9 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday, 5:30-10 p.m. today and Saturday and 5:30-9:30 p.m. Wednesday through Jan. 3 at Opportunity Village, 6300 W. Oakey Blvd. Admission is $9.50 for ages 12 and up and $7.50 for ages 3-11. Seniors receive a $2 discount on Sundays at the entrance gate. Passports, which include admission and unlimited rides, are available for $16 for an adult and $14 for a child. Tickets are available at CVS locations and free parking is available at the College of Southern Nevada lot off Community College Drive (259-3700).
HERITAGE STREET HOLIDAYS featuring homes from the 1920s to the 1950s in traditional and historical holiday decorations 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. daily through Jan. 15 at the Clark County Museum, 1830 S. Boulder Highway, $1.50 for adults, $1 for seniors and ages 3-13 (455-7955).
WINTER LIGHTS FESTIVAL featuring live entertainment, carriage rides, a train ride, Santa Claus and more, 5-9 p.m. daily through Tuesday at the Springs Preserve, 333 S. Valley View Blvd. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for ages 5-17, and includes admission to the galleries and museums (822-7700).
