THEY EVEN DO CATERINGWe have been waiting for this place to open here in Vegas ever since we read about Dickey's Barbecue Pit holding an IFOCE sponsored Rib-eating contest in Phoenix,AZ I believe.
It's a fast-food style bbq joint serving pork,beef,turkey,ham and sausage plus all your traditional bbq sides & desserts. They have free ice cream for everyone & on Sundays Kids 12 & under EAT FREE!!
I ordered a 3 meat combo & Brisket sandwich & side. I had pork ribs, beef brisket & pulled pork plus mac n cheese(really mini shells & cheese) plus baked potato casserole.
The meats were NOT smoked but very moist & tender with good flavor from the rub. Sauce on the side & its sweet with something secret in it. Very nice-kinda carolina-style bbq.Dinner roll was insane and 1 is not enough.
The manager told me the place had quite a lunch crowd,wrapped around the corner and it was steady busy the entire time and people were loving the free ice cream!
I recommend Dickey's as a great spot for a quick bite anytime but especially if your out at the La Vegas Outlet Center where it's located.
